MERKUR and VARA petroleum jellies are ointment-like, nearly odorless, homogenous mixtures of high-purity, hydrogenated,predominantly saturated hydrocarbons.They are snow-white, off-white, pale yellow or yellow pharmaceutical qualities depending on the degree of refi ning.

MERKUR and VARA pharmaceutical petroleum jellies are mainly used for the following applications:
·Base material for eye creams, ointments and hair care agents as well as the main constituent of skin care creams, baby care,handcleaning pastes, body lotions, hand and skin creams and eye make-up.
·Melkfett petroleum jellies and Melkfett ointments (Milking Grease).
